We use FloQast to manage our month end close tasks and reconciliations for multiple entities. It is integrated with our accounting software to ensure that are schedules match what is in our financials. We also use the Variance Analysis module to comment on and present analysis on month over month variances on our PL and BS to our CFO. Overall FloQast made managing month end close and the various tasks that make it up so much easier.

Month-End Close & FLUX: You no longer have to use a Gsheet to see how the close is going; you can look at the Dashboard to see exactly how it's going. Check where the bottlenecks are and possibly reassign tasks if needed. The FLUX is also linked to the Month End Close, which makes the filling out a breeze, as most of it was done during the Recon process. We have used FQ for 2-3 years and love it!

We use Floqast to manage our monthly and quarterly close process. The main modules we use are Close, Autorec, Remind and Analytics. Floqast has made tracking tasks and outstanding items easier and allowed the team to identify blockers that impacted our close. Prior to FloQast my close checklist consisted of an excel spreadsheet with haphazard notes, and it was difficult to keep track of what tasks I already completed and which items were still open. Additionally, there wasn't an easy way to see if account balances had changed post reconciliation, and all of my reconciliation reporting was very scattered. Enter FloQast. FloQast's dashboard shows you your progress for close, down to which items are late or on-time, what's still left to do, etc. All of my close GL accounts are in one place, I can easily see if an account balance has changed, I can see what tasks need to be done by a certain date, and on top of that it's incredibly user friendly. The approval feature is excellent as well, as you can add multiple approvers to review the work that's been done before locking the account. The aesthetic of the site is visually pleasing as well, which is a plus. It's massively changed how we do close tasks and I honestly can't imagine pulling out my Excel spreadsheets and going back to my old methods.

Prior to using FloQast me and my manager would have to connect several times prior to closing payroll to make sure all items were completed. We now make our notes in FloQast which eliminates us having to meet in order to close out payroll.
